  4. I live in the wrong state. We don't have enough creeks that look like that.

  5. Anthony ~ That is the smallest trophy fish that I have EVER caught!!

Mark ~ That wasn't the biggest for sure...the one that slipped out of my hands and back into the water, was the one that I wanted! Owl has video of that though...

Ed ~ As soon as you get one...another will follow that and so on...it will be an amazing journey!

  6. Ken G ~ The scenic part of this trip was truly amazing...My "big water" doesn't have the personality of these smaller creeks. That's what I had to see...

  7. Okay, I keeping a civil tongue in my head. I think I'm going to enjoy this more than UA did his trip. At least I know where I'm at right now.

  8. Shame.Poor Howard must fish without waders? Welcome back. That looks like some stunning water.

  9. AFA ~ Oh, I would never venture out in the water without properly dressing Howard for...well, anything!! LOL. I did have one little slip and he got his boots wet, but, we survived!!! (Yes, he does have Cabelas waders and boots)

Cofisher ~ You are a survivor!!! Way to go... And yes, a trip with me is always better than a stay in the cellar in MI...

  10. Cofisher ~ Let me explain...You try casting over someone's head all day that is jumping up and down in front of you (you were kind of excited to be there) One slip in 3 days was pretty good I think!

  12. RD, sure was some pretty water to be fishing in. I was very concerned about you guys and all the weather that took place over the weekend. Looks like you mad it through o.k. A couple of points that I would like to make. First, that fish would have been a good one for one of the past writing prompts at OBN. Secondly, I am glad Howard finally found a home!

  13. Sanders ~ Full version will be Friday...sorry for the delay...pressing schedule this week at work!

Mel ~ We didn't even know that we were in danger since we didn't have electronic svc in the campground! No worries for Howard now...heehee! And that fish was the smallest I have caught, so yes, it would have been a perfect candidate for that OBN post...
