There was a rainbow in every turn of the winding river. Run after run produced. You just don't see this happen every day. Heck, you don't see this happen every month! So, I just took it all in...
Even Marley Moose wanted to see what was going on...
I was ready to offer my fish to him if that is what he wanted...
The day started at 9 am and my friend and I finally looked at each other at 5 pm and said to each other, "I'm exhausted"! Heck, I think that I am still tired today... lol. But, it was sure a lot of fun!
The walk back up the hill was slow. All the muscles in my body ached from fatigue and a little bit of dehydration... But, my facial muscles could still produce a BIG SMILE = ).

If you don't first succeed...try, try again. The previous week produced one and I lost 7, mostly due to sloppy sets and playing the fish wrong once they were running on the hook. This round I caught so many, I lost count. I tweeked a few things, took my steroids (ha) and stayed with em'!!!
NEVER GIVE UP
AND LUCKY SOCKS DON'T HURT...
Thanks, Stockton and Malone.
First time out on a river. I'm looking for a "comeback".
You sure know where to find the good fishing. It's now wonder you keep going back.
ReplyDeleteYep, but now it's time to slow down a bit. This girl needs to rest! The fish will have to wait.
DeleteI only wish I had the time off to be more than a part-time fisherman.
ReplyDeleteYou know, sometimes there are benefits in being a part timer... = ) You are more rested than I am... ha. Seriously, it's time to get back to some of my other interests. Stay tuned...
DeleteSorry it took me so long to respond. I'll be in UT next month. I wish I could make it to Wyoming but that's not in the cards. So much fishing so little time.
ReplyDeleteKev ~ If you have an hour or two to fish the Provo, let me know. It's the closest for me anyway.
DeleteSome excellent fish there! Looks like a great outing. :)
ReplyDeleteChris - Thanks for stopping by! I always say that there is an adventure in every riffle... Especially nice when fish are the main part of it!
DeleteYeah, she just took it in........ and all I could do was watch and say "WOW!!!!"
ReplyDeleteOh Jer... your turn is coming soon! Boy oh boy... that caddis fly was ceetainly tore up! That's when you know that things are magical out there...
ReplyDeleteMust have been a blast. Some nice fish and smiles in those pictures.
ReplyDeleteKev ~ It most certainly was! Fun catching day... Thanks for stopping by.
